Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum in Gandhinagar during his visit to Gujarat on Tuesday, on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. The Kaynes Semicon Plant launch at Sanand, Ahmedabad, and other development projects worth more than Rs 20,000 crore are also in the line-up.

On the official handle on X, PM Modi said on Monday that he is scheduled to participate in initiatives spanning culture, semiconductors, infrastructure, healthcare, and rural development. "Tomorrow, 31st March, I will be in Gujarat to take part in programmes in Gandhinagar, Sanand and Vav-Tharad. These programmes cover culture, semiconductors, infrastructure, health, rural development and more," PM Modi said in a post on X.

In Vav-Tharad, the Prime Minister will launch and dedicate a massive suite of development projects valued at over Rs 20,000 crore. A major highlight of this visit is the inauguration of the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, a high-speed, access-controlled highway constructed for more than Rs 5,100 crore. These initiatives represent a significant investment in regional connectivity and infrastructure, further advancing the Prime Minister's vision for a modernised national network and robust economic growth across multiple sectors.

Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirth

PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum in Gandhinagar around 10 AM. Dedicated to the grandson of Ashoka, the museum honours Samrat Samprati's legacy of peace and showcases the rich evolution of Jainism through the ages.
The museum highlights seven distinct wings, each depicting a unique glimpse of India's civilisational traditions in the Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra campus.

Through a comprehensive display of rare relics and traditional Jain heritage, the museum brings history to life. It presents significant Tirth Pattas and miniature paintings, while also showcasing ancient manuscripts and detailed stone and silver chariots.
