The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on Tuesday said that the 2ndPUC result for 2026 will not be announced today, April 7, as previously anticipated.
Over 7.1 lakh students eager for their Class 12 results will have to practice extra patience due to restrictions imposed by the state.
As per media report, the release of Karnataka 2nd PUC results is being temporarily postponed due to current election-related restrictions in the state.
The Karnataka board is all set to declare the result.
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has indicated that a new date for the Class 12 results will be shared shortly on its official websites.

Students are advised to keep their login information, registration number and date of birth, at hand and to routinely check the official sites for the precise announcement. They should consistently check kseab.karnataka.gov.in and karresults.nic.in for the latest information regarding the results.
KSEAB board Exam dates 2026
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) conducted the 2nd PUC examinations from February 28 to March 17, 2026, with a total enrolment of 710,363 students from 5,174 pre-university colleges. This includes 646,801 first-time candidates, 50,540 repeat candidates, and 13,022 private candidates.
Last year's result dates
In the previous academic year (2025), the 2nd PUC results were published on April 8, after exams held from March 1 to March 20. The overall pass rate was 69.16%, with 476,256 students successfully passing the exams out of 688,678 who took them.
Given that the 2026 exam timeline mirrors last year's, officials are optimistic that results will be announced shortly after the election restrictions are lifted, likely within the next week.
