New Delhi: United Breweries on Tuesday reported an 80.57 jump in net profit at Rs 72.12 crore for the third quarter of 2015-16.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 39.94 for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Total income from operations of the company also rose to Rs 1,157.67 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 1,000.42 crore for the year-ago period.
Shares in United Breweries, on Tuesday, ended 3.76 per cent higher at Rs 808.10 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished down 1.15 per cent.
