Mumbai: Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services on Thursday reported a 15 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 12.05 crore for the June quarter.
Geojit BNP Paribas had logged a PAT of Rs 10.51 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, the company said in a release issued here.
Revenue in the first quarter grew 5 per cent to Rs 69.49 crore compared with Rs 65.95 crore in the year-ago period.
The company's assets under custody and management stood at Rs 27,000 crore as of June 30.
"There is a perceptible change in retail investor sentiment resulting in high volumes in the market. This has helped the company perform better," Geojit BNP Paribas managing director C J George said.
