Chennai: Private sector lender City Union Bank on Thursday reported a 10 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 113.05 for the third quarter ended December 31.
The Tamil Nadu-based bank's net profit was Rs 102.70 crore during the same period last fiscal.
For the nine-month period ending December 31, net profit rose by 12.3 per cent to Rs 332.45 crore from Rs 295.94 crore in the year-ago period, City Union Bank said in a BSE filing.
Total income for the October-December period also rose to Rs 850.28 crore from Rs 782.28 crore registered during corresponding quarter of previous year, it said.
During April-December period, the lender's total income rose to Rs 2,490.66 crore as against Rs 2,309.31 crore in same period of last financial year.
