New Delhi: Leading plywood and veneer maker Century Plyboards today reported a 5.05 per cent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 49.29 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 46.92 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago, Century Plyboards said in BSE filing.
Its net sales moved up by 4.31 per cent to Rs 492.61 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 472.22 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The firm's total expenses also rose by 5.14 per cent to Rs 432.97 crore during the three-month period as against Rs 411.77 crore a year ago.
