JCB International Company Ltd., a global operations division of JCB Co. Ltd, the sole international payment brand available in Japan, has teamed up with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to broadcast the launch of a unique cashback promotion for all RuPay JCB Credit and Debit cardholders for a specific timeframe.
A joint statement from JCB and NPCI read, “In accordance with the offer, customers using a RuPay JCB Card will receive 40% cash back at retail stores in Australia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the offer period. The offer will be valid from October 1 to December 31, 2022.” The maximum cashback value per transaction as part of the offer will be Rs 3,000, with a total cap of Rs 15,000 per card throughout the promotion. Yoshiki Kaneko, President and COO of JCB International Co. Ltd., commented on the offer saying, “With the easing of travel restrictions globally, we expect to see a surge in international travel. Validity: 1 October 2022 until 31 December 2022 (both dates inclusive).
Usage: Use any RuPay JCB Global card at retail stores in Australia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. 40% of the transaction amount is the maximum cashback amount, with a limit of Rs. 15,000 on the official RuPay offer page. Capping has been changed on the website to a maximum of 3000 per day/transaction and 15,000 overall.
