Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Khalifa: The Ruler witnessed another drop in earnings on Saturday. The Malayalam action thriller recorded lower collections on its third day compared with the previous day.
Day 3 Box Office Collection
Khalifa: The Ruler collected Rs 1.90 crore net in India on Day 3 from 1,340 shows, recording 31% overall occupancy. This was a 20.8% drop from the collection on Day 2. As per Sacnilk, the film's India net collection has now reached Rs 9.65 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 11.25 crore.
Overseas, the film earned Rs 3 crore on Day 3, taking its total overseas gross collection to Rs 14.25 crore. With its India and overseas earnings combined, Khalifa: The Ruler has reached a worldwide gross of Rs 25.50 crore.
Day 3 Occupancy
The Malayalam 2D version recorded an overall occupancy of 27.37% on Day 3. Morning shows registered 11.58%, while afternoon screenings recorded 21.33% and evening shows saw 25.42% occupancy. According to Sacnilk, night shows recorded the highest occupancy at 47.50%.

Box Office Collection So Far
Sacnilk reports that Khalifa: The Ruler opened with Rs 5.35 crore net in India on Day 1 from 1,967 shows, recording 46% occupancy. Day 2 added Rs 2.40 crore from 1,441 shows with 32% occupancy. On Day 3, the film collected Rs 1.90 crore from 1,340 shows, taking its total India net collection to Rs 9.65 crore.

Khalifa: The Ruler is a Malayalam action thriller directed by Vysakh and written by Jinu V. Abraham. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Mambaraykkal Aamir Ali, along with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Malvika Sharma, Shammi Thilakan, Indrans and Renji Panicker.
The story follows Aamir Ali and his powerful family as their lives are affected by betrayal, revenge and a power struggle. The film is the first part of a two-film series, with Khalifa: The Legacy set to continue the story.
