New Delhi: Alstom T&D India on Thursday reported a 31 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 19.58 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
"The company has posted a net profit of Rs 195.8 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 284.4 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2014," the company said in a filing to the BSE.
According to the statement, the total income of the company increased from Rs 673.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 to Rs 811.76 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
The unaudited financial results of the company for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 were approved by the board of directors in a meeting held on July 23.
The company is engaged into the business relating to products, projects and systems for electricity transmission and related activity only. Accordingly, the company has only one business segment, it said in the filing.
Shares in the company, on Thursday, ended nearly 2 per cent higher at Rs 578.15 apiece on the BSE.
