'Baby' has recorded opening week collections of an estimated Rs 63.82 crore at the domestic box office, according to trade website Koimoi.com. Released on January 23, the Akshay Kumar-starrer saw business of around Rs 9.3 crore on its first day, the website says.
Neeraj Pandey-directed film Baby has so far collected around Rs 66.67 crore at the domestic box office, says Koimoi, adding that the collections were at around Rs 2.85 crore on January 30 - it's second Friday.
According to Koimoi, 'Baby' may see a "good jump" in its collections in the second weekend since its release, after a "moderate drop" on weekdays.
Neeraj Pandey had directed another Akshay Kumar-starrer in 2013 - Special 26. The film had recorded business of an estimated Rs 6.5 crore on its first day, and Rs 44 crore in its first week, in the domestic box office, according to the trade website.
Also released on January 23 was Sonam Kapoor-starrer 'Dolly Ki Doli'. Koimoi estimates the film's opening week collections at Rs 18.66 crore.
