US-Iran Tensions: Trump Says Considering 'Limited Military Strike' 24 Hours After Warning Of 'Bad Things'

US President Donald Trump on Friday said that he was considering a limited strike on Iran amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Interestingly, the remark comes less than 24 hours after Trump warned of a 10-day ultimatum and said bad things would happen.

Trump was asked by reporters if he was considering a limited military strike if Iran doesn't make a deal.

Following that, the US President said, "The most I can say — I am considering it."

Both nations have signalled that they are prepared for war if talks on Tehran's nuclear program fizzle out.

On Friday, addressing the first meeting of the Board Of Peace in Washington, Trump said, "We may have to take it a step further, or we may not. Maybe we are going to make a deal. You are going to be finding out over the next probably 10 days."

Trump further added, "It's proven to be, over the years, not easy to make a meaningful deal with Iran, and we have to make a meaningful deal. Otherwise, bad things happen."
