Houthi rebel attacks on military barracks in central Yemen are said to have killed at least 30 Yemeni government servicemen.
Several Emergency Forces camps in the al-Ruwaik area of Marib province and the al-Abr area of Hadramawt were hit by missiles and drones, according to reports.
The "treacherous" attack was denounced by Health Minister Qasim Bahibah, who claimed it was meant to undermine stability and security. He did not list the number of fatalities, according to a report by the BBC.

The Houthis, who are supported by Iran and control much of northwest Yemen, claimed to have targeted "large Saudi military build-ups" in preparation for an invasion, according to a spokesman for the group. Throughout the nation's civil war, the government has received support from a coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
The strikes by the Houthis were described by the US mission in Yemen as "cowardly" and another instance of "their terrorism against the Yemeni people".
The civil conflict that has ravaged Yemen started in 2014 when the Houthis overthrew the government in the country's capital, Sanaa. In an effort to reinstate the government, a coalition of Arab nations led by Saudi Arabia intervened in 2015, which caused the violence to intensify.
According to the UN, the war has reportedly killed over 150,000 people and caused one of the biggest humanitarian crises in history, with over 22 million people in need of assistance.
Since an unofficial ceasefire went into force in 2022, the violence between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis had mostly subsided.
The Houthis' announcement of a "maritime embargo" against Saudi Arabia and their series of missile and drone attacks against Saudi airports, oil infrastructure, and tankers in the Red Sea, however, have marked a dramatic escalation in recent weeks.
The Houthis have stated that they are taking revenge for an air strike on Sanaa airport and a Saudi blockade of ports and airports in their region.
