Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi has reacted to viral reports claiming he received a Rs 1 crore bonus after the success of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', and he has clearly denied them. Calling the news untrue, the actor addressed the rumours in a light and humorous way.

The buzz started after several reports suggested that filmmaker Aditya Dhar, along with his partner Lokesh Dhar, rewarded Bedi with a Rs 1 crore cheque. It was also claimed that this amount was double the actor's reported fee of Rs 50 lakh for working on the Dhurandhar films.

However, Bedi has now clarified that he hasn't received any such amount. In a video shared on Instagram, he said, “I have been sent these videos and people are asking me if I got Rs 1 crore from Dhurandhar. So I want to ask—where is it? In whose house or pocket is it? Just tell me where it is kept so I can go and take it. Because it hasn't come into my account. It's not showing in my account.”

He further added in a playful tone, “If I do get it, I'll tell you… or maybe I won't. But right now, I haven't received anything. If you can help me get it, please do.”

Here's His Reaction Post:

Even though he denied the bonus reports, there is no doubt that Bedi has gained a lot of attention after the success of the Dhurandhar films. His role as a Pakistani politician, Jameel Jamali, became very popular among audiences. Many of his dialogues went viral on social media, especially the line “Baccha hai tu mera,” which fans turned into memes.

The Dhurandhar franchise has performed extremely well at the box office. The first film, released in December 2025, earned around Rs 1,300 crore worldwide. The sequel, released on March 19, 2026, did even better, collecting about Rs 1,760 crore globally. Together, the two films have crossed Rs 3,000 crore worldwide.

Meanwhile, Bedi continues to stay busy with new projects. The 71-year-old actor, who has been working in the industry for over four decades, will next be seen in 'Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai', directed by David Dhawan.
