Toy manufacturer LEGO has unveiled a special football-themed collection ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The collection features top footballers Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
In the sets, the players appear as LEGO minifigures, each designed to reflect their personality. The sets include collectible builds showcasing their journeys, signature styles and hidden easter eggs.
From cinematic "Football Highlights" scenes to larger "Football Legend" sets, the collection lets fans build and enjoy the game at home.
The sets use letter-shaped bases with national team colours, jersey numbers and collectible plaques. It also comes with minifigures of stars like Ronaldo and Messi.
On the collaboration, Ronaldo was cited as saying by Goal.com: “It's not every day you get to be transformed into a LEGO set!,” the report added.
For fans of Ronaldo, the CR7 set features an R-shaped base in Portugal's colours. It includes hidden easter eggs tracing his journey, plus a LEGO minifigure and a collectible plaque celebrating his iconic career and achievements.
On the partnership, Mbappe was cited as saying by Goal.com: "Football has taught me to dream big and to constantly push my limits. This LEGO set tells part of my story, but above all, it captures the energy and creativity that make this sport so special." His set, built on an M-shaped base in France's colours, features his iconic number 10 jersey.
Messi's set is recreated on an M-shaped base in Argentina's colours, featuring his iconic number 10. On the other hand, Junior's set brings Brazilian flair with a V-shaped base in national colours and his number 7. It includes a LEGO minifigure in a goal celebration pose, plus a collectible plaque and subtle references to his football journey.
On the LEGO website, the Cristiano Ronaldo “Soccer Highlights” set is priced at $29.99. It is currently available for pre-order, with shipping scheduled to begin from May 1.
Similarly, the Lionel Messi “Soccer Legend” set is priced at $79.99. It is also available for pre-order on the LEGO website. Fans can check out all the sets on the website's homepage.
