  • Revenue up 17.6% to Rs 833.60 crore versus Rs 708.87 crore (Bloomberg estimates Rs 816.7 crore).

  • Net profit down 99% to Rs 48 lakh versus Rs 334.76 crore (Bloomberg estimates Rs 54.3 crore).

  • Ebitda down 10% to Rs 63.01 crore versus Rs 69.80 crore (Bloomberg estimates Rs 100.7 crore).

  • Margin at 7.6% versus 9.8% (Bloomberg estimates 12.30%).


Q2 Results Live: Hindalco Industries' Copper Revenue Rose 5%

  • Quarterly revenue of Hindalco's copper rose 5% at Rs 13,114 crore.

  • Ebitda stood at an all-time high of Rs 829 crore, up 27%.

  • Copper metal sales fell 13% at 117 KT.

  • Copper Continuous Cast Rod sales were at 90 KT, down 10%.

  • The company plans to spend Rs 2,000 crore to build copper foil plant said Informist.

Q2 Results Live: Hindalco Industries' Aluminium Revenue Stood At Rs 9,125 Crore

  • Quarterly upstream revenue for aluminium rose 16% and stood at Rs 9,125 crore.

  • Aluminium upstream Ebitda was at Rs 3,709 crore up 79% supported by lower input costs.

  • Upstream Ebitda margins stood at 41%.

  • Downstream revenue rose 20% to Rs 3,161 crore.

  • Sales of downstream aluminium stood at 103 KT, up 10%.

  • Downstream Ebitda per tonne was down 11% at $179.

  • The management expects Aluminium Prices to inch up by 1.-1.5% quarter-on-quarter in October-December, reported Informist.
