The Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange, an early indicator of the Nifty performance in India, was little changed at 8,795.
Here are the stocks to watch out for in today's sessions:
- Yes Bank: Successfully raised Rs 2,135 crore through infrastructure bonds issue, which was subscribed 2.13 times.
- HDFC: Reports a profit of Rs 19 crore through sale of investments and a dividend income of Rs 456 crore in the second quarter. The company also sold loans worth Rs 1,939 crore in second quarter.
- Tata Steel: Allotted NCDs worth Rs 1,000 crore on a private placement basis at 8.15 percent.
- Maruti Suzuki: Total production stood at 1,46,434 units, up 24 percent in September.
- Punjab and Sind Bank: Intends to raise Basel III compliant tier II bonds through private placement aggregating up to Rs 500 crore.
- NBCC: Secured business amounting to Rs 1,117.34 crore (approx) in the month of September.
- UCO Bank: Considering a proposal to issue 7.17 crore shares to LIC on a preferential basis.
- Apollo Enterprises: Approved allotment of Rs 300 crore via NCDs on private placement basis.
- Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation: Approved the proposal to raise Rs 250 crore via NCD issue.
- Satin Creditcare Network: Allotted NCDs worth Rs 26 crore on private placement basis.
- Shriram City Union Finance: Allotted NCDs worth Rs 1,000 crore on private placement basis.
- Jagran Prakashan: Allahabad High Court approves the amalgamation of Crystal Sound & Music Pvt. Ltd. and Spectrum Broadcast Holdings Pvt. Ltd. with the company.
- Mahindra & Mahindra: Total sales for September up 7 percent at 42,545 units.
- Mahindra CIE: Clarifies that no negotiations or agreements currently taking place which require disclosure.
- AstraZeneca: Clarifies that it has not sold any land held by it.
- ICICI Bank: Cuts lending rate by 5 bps to 9.05 percent
