The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has launched the Cyber Suraksha Portal as part of its broader cybersecurity initiative, aimed at strengthening access to cybersecurity information across the securities market.
According to SEBI's press release, the new platform will serve as a centralised hub for sharing cybersecurity-related knowledge and information with market participants.
The regulator said the portal will allow stakeholders in the securities market to directly access the latest cybersecurity circulars, vulnerability warnings and insights into cyber incidents.

The initiative is intended to provide market participants with timely information on emerging cybersecurity risks and developments, while bringing key advisories and resources together on a single platform.
"Through this portal, market participants can directly access the latest cybersecurity circulars, vulnerability warnings and incident insights," the statement added.
SEBI said the Cyber Suraksha Portal will facilitate the dissemination of crucial cybersecurity information across the securities market. The platform is expected to help market participants stay updated on regulatory communications and potential vulnerabilities relevant to their operations.
The launch comes as cybersecurity risks remain an important concern for financial markets, where digital systems and online platforms are central to trading and other market activities.
