Systematix Research Report

Scheduled commercial banks' non-food credit grew 9.3% YoY versus 6.6% in December 2020 and by 7.1% in November 2021 to Rs 115.9 trillion, as agriculture/industrial/retail/services segments grew 14.5%/7.6%/10.8%/14.3%, respectively.

On an incremental basis, total credit expanded by Rs 7.1 trillion in FY22-to-date against Rs 2.9 trillion in FY21-to-date; the incremental credit compositions of the respective sectors were at 21%/13%/34%/28% in FY22-to-date versus 26%/down 37%/39%/down 3% in FY21-to-date.

The incremental credit book has been more diverse in FY22.
