Shakira is finally coming back to India after almost two decades, and this time she's bringing two big shows with her. The global pop icon superstar will perform in Mumbai and Delhi. The concerts are part of the Feeding India Concert 2026, a large-scale live music event that combines entertainment with a social cause.
In a statement announcing the tour, Shakira said, “Performing in India has always been special to me, and I'm excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi.” She added that the concerts are also “about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.”
The event is being organised by Feeding India along with District by Zomato and presented by HSBC India, and this edition will be the first time the concert is held across more than one city.
Event Dates
In Mumbai, the event will take place on April 10 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. In Delhi, on April 15 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Shakira's April dates come right after Ye announced his first India show in Delhi on March 29, 2026.
She last performed in Mumbai in 2007 during her Oral Fixation tour, and the long gap has only added to the excitement around this announcement.
How To Buy Shakira Tour Tickets?
Tickets will be available only through the District app and website. HSBC credit card holders will get a 48-hour early booking window starting at 12 pm on February 27 and running until 12 pm on March 1. General ticket sales will begin at 1 pm on March 1.
Big Moment For Music Lovers
Her return is being seen as another big moment for the country's live music scene, where global superstars are choosing the country as a major stop on their world tours.
Shakira remains one of the most successful Latin artists in the world, with over 100 million records sold. Her recent Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour set a record for the highest-grossing tour by a Latin performer, proving her global pull is as strong as ever. Songs like Hips Don't Lie, Waka Waka, Whenever, Wherever and She Wolf continue to be crowd favourites, and her recent world tour set new records for a Latin performer.
For Indian fans who have waited almost two decades, April is shaping up to be a month to mark on the calendar.
