Fans believe Karan 'sidelined' Yami on a few occasions. One such moment is during the Kaabil promotions in 2017. According to reports, Yami's co-actor Hrithik Roshan was invited on Karan's 'Koffee With Karan', but the actress was left out.
Fans believed Karan left her out because he probably believed Yami wasn't considered an 'A-list' actress at the time. It was then reported that Hrithik had decided not to move forward with it in support of his lead actress.
