Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has declared the GPSC STI Result 2026 for the State Tax Inspector (STI), Class-3 preliminary exam.

The final answer key and the results are available under Advertisement No. 27/2025-26 on the official website

The 5,783 candidates who took the preliminary exam on January 4, were deemed provisionally qualified to take the main exam.

Provisional Eligibility For Main Examination

Candidates who made the preliminary shortlist must be aware that this selection is only valid in its provisional form. In separate instructions that the Commission will provide, all eligible candidates must submit a new Detailed Application Form to be admitted to the upcoming Main Written Examination.

The GPSC has made the Final Answer Key for the Preliminary Exam available in addition to the results. Following consideration of complaints made regarding the tentative answer key, the answer key has been finalised. The Commission claims that throughout the examination process, six questions were eliminated, and the remaining questions received proportionate marks.

How to checks the results

Candidates can view their scores by entering valid credentials on the weblink displayed on the Commission's website at https://gpsc.gujarat.gov. Applicants are advised to regularly check the Commission's website for any revisions in the Main Written Examination schedule.

Cutoffs for all categories

The released cut-off list shows that candidates in the General, EWS, SEBC, and SC common category needed 91.37 marks to qualify, while women in the same categories required 84.45. ST candidates qualified with 81.67 marks in the common list and 75.39 for women, and ex-servicemen with 30.02. For persons with disabilities, the cut-offs were 55.49 (Group A), 45.60 (Group B), 84.97 (Group C), and 24.47 and 56.73 marks for Group D.
