The Rajasthan Assembly on Monday once again received a bomb threat via email, marking the third such warning in recent days and heightening security concerns.
According to officials, an anonymous email received on the assembly's official account in the morning warned of a possible suicide bombing on the premises, allegedly planned for 1 pm.
Security agencies have taken the repeated threats seriously as they continue their investigation and step up precautions around the complex.
The email claimed that two assailants had been transported from Chennai and planned to execute four significant explosions. Occupants of the assembly building were immediately evacuated after the bomb threat email was received.

In response to the serious threat, the Bomb Disposal Unit (BDDS), the canine unit, a substantial police presence, and numerous fire trucks have arrived at the assembly building.
The bomb disposal team is meticulously inspecting every nook, hallway, and parking lot of the assembly.
No suspicious items have been found thus far, but security agencies remain vigilant and cautious. Police officials assert that stringent security measures will remain enforced until the search operation concludes.
Previous threats
This is not the first incident when the assembly has faced such a threat. The assembly administration has received ominous emails and messages on two prior occasions. When the first email was received, an extensive search operation took place for several hours, but nothing unusual was uncovered.

Security was further escalated during the subsequent threat. Law enforcement is currently examining a pattern to ascertain if all these emails are originating from the same server or being dispatched by a single individual. The recurring threats have heightened the alertness of security agencies.
The administration of Rajasthan, along with law enforcement bodies, are keeping an eye on the situation. Citizens are encouraged to disregard hearsay and promptly inform the authorities about any suspicious behaviour.
