New Delhi: Pharmaceuticals firm Divis Laboratories on Friday reported an 11.77 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 246.56 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 220.58 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales during the period under review rose 8 per cent to Rs 851.77 crore as against Rs 788.08 crore in the year-ago period.
The company, which is primarily engaged in manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates, said that during the quarter, it had a forex gain of Rs 3 crore as against Rs 11 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal year.
Shares in Divis Laboratories shares today closed at Rs 1.43 per cent up at Rs 1,104.15 apiece on the BSE.
