Mahindra & Mahindra has increased the prices for its ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) SUVs and commercial vehicles by up to 2.5%, according to a release issued by the company on Thursday.

The automaker also announced an average hike of 1.6% across its portfolio. The new rates will come into effect from April 6.

The decision to revise the prices was attributed to a combination of cost escalations faced by the company.

"For the recently introduced XUV7XO, the price hike is expected to come into effect after the delivery to the first 40,000 price-protected bookings," it said.

The company had also announced a similar 3% price hike in March 2025, citing rising input costs.

Notably, M&M has become the second-largest passenger vehicle maker by volume in the Indian market in 2025-26, riding on its SUVs.

According to sales data released by automakers, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd was the third-largest by sales in FY26, ahead of Hyundai Motor India Ltd, which dropped to fourth from second in FY25.
