(Bloomberg) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. hired Christian Kames from Citigroup Inc. as the head of investment banking for Germany, according to an internal memo.
Kames will be based in Frankfurt and report to Dorothee Blessing, senior country officer for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Kames is taking the role from Callum Mitchell-Thomson, who will continue to cover clients across the EMEA region, according to the memo, whose contents were confirmed by a spokeswoman.
Kames is joining from Citigroup, where he was head of investment banking for Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as global co-head of automotive. Before that, he worked at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
