A user on X shared a post claiming that a Blinkit ambulance reached within 10 minutes and humorously suggested that the startup should also start its own police service to ensure a timely response.
“Blinkit Ambulance service is so fast that now it's time for Blinkit to start its own police :), so that it can also arrive on time. @letsblinkit,” the user wrote on X.

The post triggered a wide range of reactions from other users on the platform, with several people expressing differing opinions about the privatisation of public services.
One user commented, “Yes, we people should start everything private, and kick out all government useless machineries.”
Another user opined that privatising public services could improve accountability. “Privatising public services can make it look tremendous. Because they will be accountable for all kinds of work. Now our representatives are fooling us by making someone accountable for negligence and improving their background, saving their known people,” the user said.
Another user made a humorous remark saying, “Blinkit should start its own Parliament so that public services can also be delivered in time without corruption.”
Others continued the humorous tone with comments such as, “How about a Blinkit court.”

Blinkit started the service in early January 2025 in Gurugram.
Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa, in an X post, stated that the service was started with the intention of making emergency medical help reach people faster when every minute counts.
As of early 2026, the 10-minute ambulance service is operational across most of Gurugram, Manesar and parts of Delhi, including Lajpat Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Patel Nagar, Dwarka and Greater Kailash. The service currently operates about 25 Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances.

He added that the ambulances reached patients within 10 minutes in 87% of the cases and that the company has trained and deployed 70 paramedics through the Blinkit Academy.
Dhindsa also stated that the service has been provided without charging any money from the families who required it.
Highlighting the challenges of emergency care, he noted that the initiative required heavy investment in training paramedics and building infrastructure, as medical decisions often have to be taken within seconds and sometimes with incomplete information.
