A traffic police officer in Bengaluru fined a car for using banned sun film and later offered to arrange food for passengers who were fasting during Ramadan. A video of the incident is doing rounds on social media platforms.
According to ‘X' handle, Karnataka Portfolio, the incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Adugodi Traffic Police Station during a routine vehicle inspection.
Police reportedly stopped a car after noticing the presence of sun film on its windows, which is prohibited under traffic regulations. Following the violation, the officer imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on the vehicle owner. The passengers accepted the offence and paid the fine without any argument.

However, “by the time the process was completed, sunset was approaching. The passengers in the car were observing the Ramadan fast, and it was almost time for Iftar, the moment when fasting Muslims break their fast. However, being stopped on the roadside during the checking, they had no access to food or water to break their fast.”
“That's when Traffic Police personnel Nagaraj stepped in with a thoughtful gesture. After learning that the passengers were fasting, he arranged food and water for them so they could break their fast on time,” the post read.
According to the post, the passengers also expressed gratitude, saying, “We regret violating the rules, but we are thankful for the kindness shown to us."

In the viral video, the officer is heard saying, “I don't have any problem, I will only give you food as a gift, I will only pay for that, okay ?”
