WhatsApp Camera Effects, Selfie Stickers Features Out, Music Sharing On Status Coming Soon

If you are a WhatsApp user, then you just got a few extra features to play with and there are more in the pipeline. WhatsApp has introduced new features and design improvements aimed at making the platform easier to use and chats much more creative. The instant messaging service is also working to soon offer the “music for status updates” feature through its beta for Android 2.25.2.5 update.

Camera Effects
After launching effects on video calls last year, WhatsApp is adding new features for cameras too. You can now choose the same 30 backgrounds, filters, and effects to alter your photos and videos while shooting and sending them via chats.
Selfie Stickers
If you enjoy personalised stickers, you can now create a sticker directly from your selfie. You may take a selfie and make your own sticker by just tapping the sticker on the “create sticker” button. The feature is available on Android and shortly will be on iOS too.
Share A Sticker Pack
If you come across a set of stickers that you know your friend will like, sharing them straight in your chats is now simple through this feature.
Quicker Reactions
Double tapping a message now allows you to respond and swiftly navigate among your most often used reactions.
Music For Status Updates
This WhatsApp feature—which will allow you to share music through status updates—is still under development and has been made available to some beta testers. In the upcoming weeks, more users will be able to use it.
By enabling users to incorporate music into their status updates, this feature seeks to improve the status experience by making it more expressive and engaging. Users will be able to search for songs or artists and easily include the tracks they want into images or videos that are published as status updates once a music button is added to the drawing editor.
After switching to the most recent beta version, some beta testers reported seeing the music option in their status editor, suggesting that WhatsApp is now testing this functionality with more and more users.
