Google Pixel 9a Price Set To Be Lower Than iPhone 16e, May Please Fans; Check Launch Date Too

Google is changing things up this year by releasing its mid-range Pixel smartphone several months ahead of schedule. Perhaps, to better compete with the recently launched iPhone 16e and the Nothing Phone 3a. And the latest report indicates that Google Pixel 9a price will be lower than the iPhone 16e, which will delight the fans. Notably, the Google Pixel 'a' series smartphones are typically launched at Google I/O, the company’s annual developer event in May. However, this year, the company is expected to release the Google Pixel 9a in March itself.

Given that the mid-range smartphone market has already seen quite a few releases, of which 16e has edged toward the premium price bracket, all eyes are on how the Pixel 9a will rack up against them. But first, let's take a look at the Google Pixel 9a launch date.

There have been several reports on what exactly the launch date will be. While there is no official confirmation, the Google Pixel 9a could launch on March 19 globally, which means India launch will effectively be on March 20, 2025. Notably, tipster Yogesh Brar also wrote on his X handle: “Google Pixel 9A global launch set for March 19th (India release on 20th).” 

Furthermore, the smartphone will reportedly go on sale no earlier than March 26.

Going by reports, Google Pixel 9a price in India may start at Rs 43,000 for the 128 GB model and Rs 51,800 for the 256 GB variant. While that is more expensive than Nothing Phone 3a, it is still very much in the region of fans' expectations.
