Apple Updates Logic Pro For Mac, iPad — Check Out Advanced New Features
Stem Splitter and Flashback Capture have new features, while new sound packs are now available in Logic Pro.

Apple has released new Logic Pro updates for the Mac and iPad to enhance beat creation and production. The Stem Splitter feature now offers improved audio fidelity and can separate guitar and piano into stems.
Users can retrieve and restore performances they might have neglected to capture with Flashback Capture. Additionally, beatmakers have new loops and kits to use in their next song, thanks to sound bundles like Dancefloor Rush.
Stem Splitter Improves Audio Quality
In addition to extracting more data from old recordings and demos, the new Stem Splitter also supports guitar and keyboard stems. Using presets, producers can quickly choose popular stem variations including instrumental, acapella or instrumental with vocals.
Users may also export only the desired audio segments with ease, thanks to a new submix tool. For instance, they can extract the drums and bass for a personalised remix or remove the vocals to create an instrumental recording.

Recall Moments With Flashback Capture
Even if performers forget to record, they can still recapture performances with Flashback Capture. Using a key command or a custom control bar button, users can restore audio and MIDI performances.
Flashback Capture will automatically arrange each pass into a take folder when musicians improvise many takes in Cycle mode.
New Sound Packs
Logic Pro has new sound packs to improve music production. Dancefloor Rush, the latest sound pack for Mac and iPad, features drum-and-bass sounds with over 400 dynamic loops, drum kits and a custom Live Loops grid, according to Apple.
There are two new sound packs in Logic Pro for Mac: Magnetic Imperfections and Tosin Abasi. While the Tosin Abasi sound pack features progressive metal guitar with boutique amps, effects, picking techniques and the artist’s hallmark riffs, Magnetic Imperfections offers a unique texture capturing the rawness of analogue tape.
Learn MIDI On iPad
Learn MIDI is now available on iPad, giving users direct control over plug-ins, instruments, and other parameters in Logic Pro by assigning their preferred knobs, faders, and buttons on MIDI devices. Learn MIDI’s user-friendly interface and real-time visual feedback enable users to view available controls, quickly make custom assignments, and maintain their creative flow.
