The iPhone 17 was introduced around the world, including India, by Apple in September last year. Representing cutting-edge technology, premium build and multiple features, the handset has been a major hit for the Cupertino-based tech giant in the premium smartphone segment.
While the 256GB variant of the iPhone 17 normally retails at Rs 82,900, it is currently being made available at an offer price of Rs 74,900 on Flipkart.

On the e-commerce platform, customers can buy the iPhone 17 base model for as low as Rs 74,900. The price for the smartphone originally starts at Rs 82,900. This means customers get a major Rs 8,000 off.

The discount offer includes Rs 3,000 off on price, another Rs 2,000 off on using select bank cards as well as an exchange discount of up to Rs 3,000. These can be availed via Flipkart Axis Bank or SBI credit cards.
Additionally, there is 5% cashback on the cart value up to Rs 4,000.
Apple iPhone 17: Features
The iPhone 17 smartphone comes with two SIMs option — Nano+eSIM and runs on iOS 26. It comes with a larger 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, thanks to the new ProMotion panel that has been adopted from the iPhone 16 Pro models.
This makes it the first non-Pro iPhone model, alongside the Air, to support up to 120Hz refresh rate. Further, the screen supports up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and is made available with upgraded Ceramic Shield 2 protection and an always-on display feature.

On the back side, the smartphone has a dual rear camera setup, which is headlined by a 48-megapixel Fusion main camera with an f/1.6 aperture along with sensor-shift optical image stabilisation (OIS). It even functions as a 2X telephoto camera with a 52mm focal length. Also, there is a 48-megapixel Fusion Ultra-Wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and macro capabilities. On the front, fans get a new Centre Stage selfie camera. Also, it has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Powered by an A19 chipset, the device comprises a 16-core Neural Engine that Apple said can deliver power-efficient AI inference, improved performance and increased memory bandwidth.
Overall, the CPU performance is said to be 40% faster than the iPhone 16 model. Moreover, Apple has made 256GB as the base storage option.
According to Apple, the iPhone 17 delivers up to eight hours more battery life than the iPhone 16 and gets faster charging too, with 50% charge in minutes.
