Cameron Green was dismissed in extraordinary fashion during Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) chase against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 2, with a freak run-out on the final ball of the Powerplay triggering confusion on and off the field.
The incident unfolded off Eshan Malinga's final delivery of the sixth over. Angkrish Raghuvanshi drove the ball straight back at the bowler, only for it to deflect off Malinga's boot and drop tamely a few yards away from the wickets at the non-striker's end.

The 21-year-old burst forward for a quick single and Cameron Green responded from the non-striker's end, but Raghuvanshi hesitated after spotting Malinga recover quickly.
What followed was a complete breakdown in communication, with both hesitating in the middle while Malinga gathered the ball and whipped off the bails in double-quick time.
The confusion did not end there as Raghuvanshi initially assumed he was out and began walking back to the duggout, appearing ready to sacrifice his wicket for the senior partner. However, the decision was referred upstairs for the third umpire to determine which batter was actually out.
Replays confirmed that the batters had not crossed at the time the stumps were broken. Under the laws of the game, that meant Green, who had left the non-striker's end and was closer to the wicket that was put down, was adjudged run out.
Green departed for 2 off 2 balls, with the dismissal leaving KKR at 74/3 at the end of the Powerplay in a steep chase of 226.
Raghuvanshi recovered from the mix-up to register a 29-ball half-century, but KKR's running between the wickets remained under scrutiny, with another run-out later in the innings compounding the pressure on the chase.
This time it was Raghuvanshi was took off from the non-striker's end after Rinku Singh slashed a short-length delivery to backward point. Rinku denied the single with the young wicket-keeper batter left stranded midway down the track as his innings ended with 52 off 29 balls.
