Senco Gold Q4 Business Update: Revenue Up 46% Due To Wedding Season

Senco Gold Ltd. reported a revenue of 46% YoY (Year-On-Year) growth in the business update for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, according to an exchange filing from the company on Saturday. The strong Q4 performance helped Senco Gold clock about 35% YoY growth in FY26, compared with 21% in FY25.

"The wedding season in the quarter was spread across the whole quarter, and to cater for this, we launched new designs, collections and attractive offers. Valentine's Day and International Women's Day drove strong growth in footfall, particularly in our gifting and lightweight segments," the filing said.

The filing also noted rising gold prices across the globe spurred by the Iran-Israel-US war noting a volatile environment, it stated that customers are continuing to buy jewellery despite this.

The firm further said that it is trying to plan its inventory in accordance with changing consumer demand and maintaining its gross margin and profitability, and is managing the risk effectively.

The firm's growth outlook for the first quarter of fiscal 2027 includes achieving a minimum of 20-25% value growth while maintaining its Earnings Before Interest Taxes Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) margin's target of 7.5%-7.8%.

It further stated that it has a "strong pipeline" for store expansion in the first half of fiscal 2027, across the franchise and company-owned categories, and plans to launch 20-25 stores in fiscal 2027, with a focus on opening more franchise stores.

"We are geared up for the upcoming auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Poila Boishak, Baishakhi, Rath Yatra & Raja Parba in Odisha and the summer wedding season in first quarter of fiscal 2027 with curated collections and hyper-local jewellery," the filing stated.

The company said it has accelerated its focus on lightweight jewellery and everyday wear.
