KRChoksey Report

The Reserve Bank of India maintained status quo on the rate and stance unanimously. The repo rate remains at 4% and stance at accommodative.

The inflation forecast has been revised downwards. It believes government support is essential to maintain the prices of key commodities. It is now focused on reviving growth secularly.

It has taken steps to restore gradual and non-disruptive normalcy of the benefits it provided last year.

It continues to maintain a stance of easy liquidity to ensure the government's smooth borrowing program
