MSTC Ltd. announced on Wednesday its third interim dividend of Rs 4.50 per share at a face value of Rs 10 each for the current financial year.
The dividend will be credited to the eligible shareholders within 30 days from the date of declaration. The record date is set as April 2, according to an exchange filing.
The public sector enterprise previously announced a second interim dividend of Rs 32 apiece alongside first interim dividend for Rs 4 per share.
Earlier this month, the company was also declared as the e-auction service provider for conducting e-auction of coal and coal products for coal companies for a period of two years.
MSTC recorded a net profit of Rs 250.9 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 37 crore in the same period last fiscal. Its revenue surged 15% to Rs 81.1 crore in the October-December quarter from Rs 70.9 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of MSTC closed 0.73% lower at Rs 514.75 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, compared to a 0.77% fall in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has fallen by 38.57% in the last 12 months and 24.19% on a year-to-date basis.
