New Delhi: TVS Motor Company on Monday reported a 13.56 per cent increase in total sales at 2,48,002 units last month.
The Chennai-based company had sold 2,18,321 units in July 2015.
Total two-wheeler sales during the month grew 15.38 per cent to 2,40,042 units as against 2,08,044 units in the corresponding period a year ago, TVS Motor Company said in a statement.
Motorcycle sales rose 22.82 per cent to 95,062 units last month, as compared to 77,397 units in the year-ago period.
Scooter sales declined 2.28 per cent to 68,033 units from 69,626 units in the year-ago period, it said.
