Anil Kapoor is all set to make his return as a television host with India Ke Top 1%, the Indian adaptation of the internationally acclaimed game show The 1% Club. The upcoming reality series promises a fresh take on quiz-based entertainment by focusing on logical thinking and observation instead of general knowledge.
A Logic-Based Format With Global Recognition
India Ke Top 1% is based on the globally successful format The 1% Club, which has gained popularity across several countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Greece, Australia, Israel, Turkiye, Ukraine, Mexico and the United States. The Indian version follows the same concept, where contestants face a series of challenges designed to test reasoning, pattern recognition and observation skills rather than memorised facts.

Anil Kapoor Shares His Excitement
Kapoor expressed his enthusiasm for hosting the show and said he was delighted to announce its premiere. He shared that unveiling the project at a grand launch event made the occasion even more memorable.
The actor also said he enjoyed interacting with distinguished guests, industry leaders and dignitaries during the launch, adding that watching them test their instincts through the game's challenges reflected the essence of the format.
Kapoor further stated that the show is designed to surprise participants by encouraging them to rely on logic, observation and quick thinking. According to him, the experience demonstrates that intelligence is not limited to knowledge alone but also lies in the ability to think differently.
Release Date And Streaming Platform
India Ke Top 1% will premiere on September 5. The reality game show will air on Star Plus and will be available for streaming simultaneously on JioHotstar. The show will feature contestants competing for a grand prize of Rs 1 crore, bringing the globally popular format to Indian audiences for the first time.
