Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Bhooth Bangla are both witnessing the expected weekday slowdown at the box office as they continue their theatrical runs in the eighth and fourth weeks, respectively.
While Dhurandhar 2 still remains one of the biggest blockbusters of the year with collections above Rs 1,100 crore net in India, Bhooth Bangla is also maintaining a decent run despite declining occupancy and reduced show counts.
Box Office Collection: Day 56 vs Day 27
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge collected around Rs 0.12 crore net on Day 56 across 392 shows, according to Sacnilk live estimates. The film had earned Rs 0.40 crore on Day 55, indicating a sharp weekday dip of nearly 70%.
In comparison, Bhooth Bangla collected around Rs 0.40 crore net on Day 27 from 2,211 shows. The horror-comedy had earned Rs 1.60 crore on Day 26, showing a drop of nearly 75% in collections.
Total Collection
Dhurandhar 2 continues its historic run at the box office with total India gross collections reaching approximately Rs 1,369.12 crore, while the India net collection now stands at nearly Rs 1,143.96 crore.
Meanwhile, Bhooth Bangla has earned around Rs 192.25 crore gross in India so far, with its India net collection touching nearly Rs 162.10 crore.

Occupancy Trends
On Day 56, Dhurandhar 2 recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of nearly 14.38% during morning shows. Bengaluru reported the highest occupancy at 66% despite limited shows, while Ahmedabad registered around 19%. Mumbai and Pune remained steady at nearly 15% occupancy each. NCR, however, stayed low at around 6%.
For Bhooth Bangla, overall Hindi occupancy on Day 27 stood at approximately 4.85% during morning shows. Jaipur recorded one of the better responses with 8% occupancy, while Mumbai, NCR and Lucknow remained around 6%. Surat, Chandigarh and Bhopal reported some of the weakest numbers at nearly 3%.
Box Office Comparison
While Dhurandhar 2 has now entered the final phase of its theatrical run after nearly eight weeks in cinemas, the film continues to add small numbers daily despite major screen reductions.
On the other hand, Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, is still holding comparatively better in its fourth week and remains one of the more successful mid-budget Bollywood performers of 2026.
