Ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled from Feb. 16 to 20 in New Delhi, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued detailed instructions for delegates attending events at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan. Delegates have been advised to use public transport due to limited parking availability and revised gate access arrangements. The advisory also outlines operational entry gates, timings and parking instructions.

According to PTI, entry to the India AI Impact Summit 2026 will have certain restrictions today (Feb. 16), which is the first day of the event. The summit and the expo being organised alongside it will open to all visitors from Feb. 17, as per the official advisory.

The India AI Impact Expo 2026 will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (Feb. 16) at 5 p.m. at Bharat Mandapam.
As per the Ministry's advisory, the Bharat Mandapam Expo Arena will remain closed on Feb. 16 due to the inauguration ceremony. It will open to all visitors from Feb. 17 onward.

Bharat Mandapam Access And Parking Guidelines
Registered delegates have been strongly advised to use public transport, Metro services or cabs to reach Bharat Mandapam because of limited parking space.
Gate No. 4 will remain operational for entry between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., with car and cab drop-offs permitted. After 2 p.m., access through Gate No. 4 will be regulated or restricted as per security protocol.
Gate No. 7 will be operational for entry only after 2 p.m. Delegates may alight in front of Gate No. 7 and proceed through the Business Plaza to enter the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre.
Gate No. 10 is designated for delegates arriving by Metro. Access through other designated gates will remain subject to security clearance and movement restrictions as per protocol.
For those arriving in their own vehicles, limited parking facilities will be available at Purana Qila Parking (1.6 km), Zoo Parking Space (3 km) and JLN Stadium Parking (4.8 km).
Shuttle services will operate from these locations to Bharat Mandapam Gate No. 4. Delegates have also been advised to use designated golf carts within the Bharat Mandapam complex to reach their respective venues.
Sushma Swaraj Bhawan Entry Protocol
For Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, registered delegates have again been advised to rely on public transport, Metro services or cabs due to limited parking space.
Entry will be permitted through Gate No. 2 for pedestrians, Metro users, drop-offs and self-drive vehicles.
The advisory states that all registered delegates, including invitees, speakers, attendees and other stakeholders, should take note of the revised access protocol and plan their arrival accordingly.
Authorities have also urged all guests and visitors to cooperate fully with security and traffic personnel and strictly follow on-site instructions to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the event.
