The Supreme Court will hear on Friday Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.'s petition challenging the NCLAT's decision restoring Cyrus Mistry as executive chairman of Tata Group.

The plea will be listed before a three-judge bench comprising Chief Justice SA Bobde and Justices BR Gavai and Surya Kant, according to the apex court website.

Tata Sons has challenged the Dec. 18 decision of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal that restored Mistry as the executive chairman of the Tata Group holding company. The court also held illegal conversion of Tata Sons into a private company.
