Actor Kirti Kulhari has reportedly become the latest celebrity to be targeted in a cyber fraud case. The actor approached the police after discovering unauthorised transactions on her credit card. A case has been registered, and the investigation is underway to identify those responsible for the alleged fraud.
Fraud Detected After Bank Alert
According to IANS, Kirti Kulhari filed a complaint with the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai after noticing suspicious activity linked to her credit card.
As per the First Information Report (FIR), the incident came to light while the actor was at Cinepolis near Fun Republic Mall in Andheri West. She received a bank alert regarding a transaction worth $2,525 made on Aeromaxico Airlines using her credit card.

After receiving the notification, Kirti immediately contacted her bank. Bank officials reportedly informed her that four unauthorised transactions had been carried out through the card. As a precautionary measure, the bank blocked the credit card to prevent any further misuse.
According to the complaint, the actor suffered a financial loss of Rs 2,43,853 in the cyber fraud.
Police Investigation Underway
As per IANS, Kirti Kulhari informed the police that she had never shared her credit card password with anyone and had kept the details completely confidential.
Investigators suspect that the fraud may have been carried out through malware or spyware, which could have compromised either her mobile phone or her credit card information. Police are currently examining the available digital evidence and using bank reference numbers and other digital footprints to trace the individuals involved in the alleged scam.

On the professional front, Kirti Kulhari recently announced that she has completed shooting for her debut feature film as a producer.
The actor is known for her performances in films and series such as Pink, Mission Mangal, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Badass Ravikumar, Khichdi: The Movie, Four More Shots Please!, Criminal Justice, and Human. She began her career with television commercials before making her Bollywood debut with Khichdi: The Movie in 2010.
