In a chilling escalation of the ongoing investigation into an alleged forcible religious conversion racket at Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) Nashik unit, a second woman employee has come forward with harrowing details of harassment, NDTV reported.

In her formal complaint, the survivor leveled serious allegations of sexual harassment and mental torture against Shahrukh Qureshi and Raza Memon. Both men are among the seven accused already in custody as part of the widening probe into the IT giant's regional office.

The survivor detailed a pattern of escalating harassment, recalling an initial incident where Qureshi summoned her to his desk under the guise of professional interaction, only to pivot to intrusive questions about her personal life and relationship status.

She described feeling deeply "uncomfortable and embarrassed" by his persistent staring and inquiries regarding whether she had a boyfriend.

According to the complaint, the situation worsened a week later when Qureshi and Memon called her for a purported work discussion instead, Memon allegedly subjected her to lewd remarks about her physique, suggesting she go to the gym to achieve a "proper shape" and look more "attractive."

According to the complaint, the harassment continued as Memon repeatedly probed her relationship status, asking if she harbored feelings for anyone within their department. The survivor specifically recounted an incident on the festival of Gudi Padwa, noting that her choice to wear a new outfit to work resulted in Memon summoning her to his desk multiple times.

Despite her efforts to ignore his lewd stares, she alleged that he eventually used hand gestures to compel her to approach him in front of other colleagues, reported NDTV.

These details emerged alongside her harrowing account, "Thank God I Survived," where she reveals the extent of the ordeal. She alleged that Qureshi remained undeterred by her clear reluctance, continuously prying into her private affairs and cornering her whenever she was alone to pressure her into going out with him, ignoring her repeated refusals.

The survivor admitted she initially hesitated to file an internal complaint, fearing that the considerable influence wielded by the accused within the firm would render any action futile. These revelations follow a series of allegations that surfaced earlier in April, prompting TCS to suspend the individuals involved while reaffirming its "zero-tolerance" policy toward harassment.

Beyond the workplace, the investigation has uncovered a pattern of digital stalking and harassment on social media; police are currently forensically examining seized devices and attempting to recover deleted data to strengthen the evidentiary case against the accused.
