Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Siemens Energy AG have signed two memorandums of understanding to expand their long‑running partnership, with a focus on artificial intelligence‑led industrial transformation, digital infrastructure and energy solutions for data centres. The agreements also involve Siemens Energy India Limited and cover collaboration across IT services, industrial AI applications and AI‑ready data centres in India.

Under the arrangement, TCS will continue as a preferred IT partner for Siemens Energy AG, supporting the company's global operations with digital engineering, data platforms and enterprise technology services. The partnership aims to improve operational efficiency, resilience and automation as energy and industrial companies increase investments in AI‑driven systems.

A key element of the collaboration involves Siemens Energy India Limited supporting TCS's AI data‑centre business, HyperVault. The engagement will focus on addressing the power, electrification and grid requirements of AI‑ready data centres, a segment seeing rising demand as enterprises scale high‑density generative AI workloads.

Beyond IT services, Siemens Energy is expected to deploy TCS's AI capabilities across factory and asset modernisation initiatives. These include digital twins, predictive analytics, smart manufacturing systems, machine vision and tighter integration between operational technology and information technology systems. The companies said these tools are intended to improve productivity, asset utilisation and manufacturing performance across Siemens Energy's global operations.

For TCS, the agreement aligns with its broader push into AI‑driven infrastructure, data platforms and digital engineering, particularly for large industrial clients transitioning from pilot projects to enterprise‑wide AI deployment. Siemens Energy, meanwhile, is positioning digital technologies as a core enabler of efficiency and sustainability across power generation, electrification and grid technologies.
