REC's Q3 net rises nearly 20 per cent to Rs 1,228 crore

Rural Electrification Corp (REC) on Friday reported a nearly 20 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 1,227.67 crore in the third quarter that ended in December 2013. The state-owned company had posted a net profit of Rs 1,026.65 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.
