Mahindra & Mahindra reported healthy growth across key segments in March, led by strong performance in passenger vehicles and tractors.
Total passenger vehicle (PV) sales rose 25% year-on-year to 60,272 units. This was marginally below market estimates of 61,821 units. Three-wheeler sales increased sharply by 39% year-on-year to 10,801 units during the month.
Total vehicle sales climbed 21% year-on-year to 99,969 units. Exports, however, grew at a slower pace, rising 4% year-on-year to 3,968 units.
The tractor segment delivered a strong outperformance. M\&M sold 43,403 tractors in March, marking a 33% year-on-year increase and comfortably beating estimates of 41,389 units.
Overall, the robust tractor volumes and steady growth in passenger vehicles underscore sustained demand momentum for the company, despite a slight miss on PV estimates.
