Tanushree Bagrodia, the chief financial officer of Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd., resigned from her position, according to an exchange filing on the BSE.
Her resignation was accepted by the board of directors and will be effective on Sept. 2 of the current year. She will be succeeded by Mahadeo Karnik.
"Further, based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of Mahadeo Karnik as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company, effective Sept. 3, 2024," the filing said.
Karnik has been serving as the regional finance director for private healthcare company Abott India Ltd. since July 2023.
The company also appointed Vijay Ratnaparkhe as a non-executive independent director for a period of three years, from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027.
"The company will seek the Members' approval for this appointment at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting," the filing said.
