IndiGo on Tuesday, Feb. 24, announced new direct flights connecting the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) to six destinations for further enhancing connectivity. Among the new direct routes include flights to Ahmedabad, Diu, Goa, Rajkot, Belgaum, and Kolhapur. These will be effective from Mar. 29.
In a press release, the domestic carrier informed that it will be operating its ATR aircraft on these routes. This will further strengthen IndiGo's operations from NMIA and enhance air connectivity in the region.
Passengers will be able to book tickets for these flights across all channels, including the official website of IndiGo (www.goIndiGo.in), mobile app and via travel agents.
However, the schedule of the flights on these routes is subject to regulatory approvals.

"These services build on IndiGo's growing presence at Navi Mumbai, offering convenient schedules, greater flexibility, and seamless air travel to and from the airport. By expanding its ATR network, IndiGo continues to play a key role in driving regional aviation growth, supporting tourism and local economies, and enabling faster, more reliable connectivity between tier-2, tier-3 cities and major metropolitan hubs," read the statement.
