HCL Infosystems said on Wednesday that its promoter, HCL Corporation Pvt Ltd, has acquired 44,69,127 shares at Rs 17,11,58,570.
This takes the promoter's total stake in the firm to 44.85 per cent, HCL Infosystems said in a filing to the BSE.
HCL Corporation is the holding company of HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems. The purchase took place on BSE and NSE platforms.
For the period ended December 31, 2012, Shiv Nadar-owned HCL Corp's stake in HCL Infosystems stood at 42.85 per cent.
