The film has started attracting audiences in several markets, with bookings coming in from multiplexes and single screens alike. Batwara 1947 has grossed Rs 55.51 lakh in bookings for its first day across India, excluding blocked seats. The film has sold 19,816 tickets across 3,546 shows, with an average ticket price of Rs 260, according to a report by Sacnilk. Including blocked seats, the film's opening day bookings gross stands at Rs 1.66 crore.
State-Wise Advance Booking Performance
As per the latest Sacnilk data, Delhi is leading the state-wise bookings with Rs 15.16 lakh in gross collections (Rs 37.85 lakh including blocked seats) from 473 shows. Maharashtra follows with Rs 10.36 lakh (Rs 34.28 lakh including blocked seats) across 706 shows.
Among other key states, Gujarat has contributed Rs 6.02 lakh, while Rajasthan has collected Rs 5.37 lakh. Uttar Pradesh has recorded Rs 4.69 lakh, and West Bengal has added Rs 2.82 lakh. Uttarakhand has registered the highest real occupancy among major states at 11%.
Sacnilk reports Mumbai has generated Rs 7.42 lakh, while Jaipur has collected Rs 3.17 lakh. Among other major centres, Ahmedabad and Lucknow have each earned Rs 1.58 lakh, while Pune has contributed Rs 1.32 lakh. Kanpur has recorded 13% real occupancy, whereas Durgapur has posted 92% occupancy from two shows.
