Emirates cited operational reasons, while Flydubai said flights to Basra and Najaf will go ahead, according to statements from the carriers.

Iran last night fired dozens of missiles at U.S.-Iraqi bases, a direct attack on American forces in the region that risks further action from President Donald Trump after a U.S. strike killed top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani last week.
